Questions about facials answered :

Q: What is the difference between Microneedling and Microdermabrasion?

A: Microdermabrasion acts like an exfoliant, removing dead skin cells from the surface of the epidermis to reveal fresh skin that can better absorb your skincare products. Microneedling, on the other hand, involves hundreds of tiny needles that create micro-punctures in the skin. This process stimulates your skin's natural healing response, leading to increased collagen production.

Fun fact: You can even combine these treatments! Microdermabrasion can be added on to your Microneedling session for enhanced results.

Q: What is the difference between Microdermabrasion and Dermaplaning?:

A: Dermaplaning is a cosmetic procedure that uses a surgical scalpel to gently remove the top layers of dead skin cells and fine facial hair, often referred to as "peach fuzz." This physical exfoliation aims to reveal brighter, smoother, and more radiant skin. It can also improve the absorption of skincare products and enhance makeup application.

Microdermabrasion, on the other hand, uses a minimally abrasive instrument to gently sand your skin, removing the thicker, uneven outer layer.

The best choice between microdermabrasion and dermaplaning depends on your individual skin concerns and goals. If you're looking to address fine lines, wrinkles, or acne scars, microdermabrasion might be a better option. If your primary concerns are dullness, peach fuzz, or improving product absorption, dermaplaning may be more suitable.

Q: What is the best facial for me?:

A: The best facial for you depends on your individual needs and whether this is your first facial. If it's your first time, we recommend either the Signature or Calming Facial. Both are hour-long treatments that provide excellent results without requiring a significant time commitment.

Q: Is there downtime after a facial?:

A: For most of our facials, there is no downtime. However, for the Microneedling treatment, we recommend avoiding public exposure for 24-48 hours, as your skin may appear red and blotchy.
Q: Can I get a facial if I'm pregnant?:

A: Absolutely! Most of our facials are perfectly safe and beneficial for pregnant people. However, we do not recommend Microneedling during pregnancy. Please be sure to mention that you are pregnant and how far along you are in the booking comments when you schedule your appointment. This helps us tailor your experience to your specific needs.
Q: Can I come with a friend?:

A: Yes, we can accommodate two people at the same time from Wednesday to Saturday. You can try to book this online, but if you have any difficulty, please feel free to call or email us for assistance.
Hope this helps and see you all soon ;) book here
