Compromised and Acne Prone Skin
It's common to link oily skin to acne. After all, excess oil is a known contributor to breakouts. But it is possible to have dry/ dehydrated or even normal skin and still experience blemishes.
There are a handful of different types of acne: cystic acne, hormonal breakouts, blackheads, closed comedones, and whiteheads, and each has a myriad of triggers including environment, diet, hormones, or even just a ineffective skin routine. We suggest going easy on skin and using effective yet gentle products that tackle the issues without causing irritation.
